P. Gerard Francisco Timoner

Gerard Francisco is the first Asian Master in the history of the Order of Preachers. He was born on 26 January 1968 in the city of Daet in the Philippines. He was ordained a priest in 1995. For a time, he served as the vice chancellor of the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. He is the member of the International Theological Commission. In the Philippines he served as a Provincial Superior, then in 2017 he was appointed as Socius for Asia Pacific. Since 2019, he has been the Master of the Dominican Order.
