At the age of 13, he said he never wanted to go to church ever again. Several years later a retreat completely turned his life around. In 1980, he was asked to greet and come up with a present for John Paul II. at that year’s International Eucharistic Congress. Considering his very modest way of live, he decided to pledge his life to the evangelisation of young people. Two years later, he opened his first café. To date, his community has spread to many countries of world, including Hungary too, where they are present in Budapest. As the founder of Shalom Catholic Community, he is on an indirect mission along with his companions – they operate cafés and sandwich bars where they engage customers in discussions about faith, God and life itself...
