All along the week of the International Eucharistic Congress we would like to bring the Congress to the people as close as possible. Therefore, mission stages will be set up in Széll Kálmán Square and Örs vezér Square, where, anyone passing by can be part of concerts, testimonies, evangelistic plays throughout the week from Monday to Friday, from early afternoon to evening.

Right next to the stage in the tent “Meghallgatlak“ (“I’m here to listen”) there is a way for in-depth spiritual conversations, while around the stage our volunteers familiarise you with Christianity through personal informal talks.

Christian music bands are announced to be on stage, featuring: Kaláka, Makám, Jonatán Andelic, Golgota Gospel Choir, László Csiszér, Eucharist, Béla Pintér, Szabad-ON, Ferenc Flach…and others. Moreover, well-known artists such as János Lackfi, poet, and Soma Zámbori, actor are going to enrich the performances. Every day between 4 and 5 p.m. children’s programs will be on show.

Many of our guests will also appear on stage to share their testimonies on faith. Just to sample a few…. András Csókay neurosurgeon, Father Csaba Böjte, László Varga and János Székely bishops, Father András Hodász, Damian Stayne preacher, Mary Healy and Barbara Heil from the USA…Some of them are going to appear on other important programs of the International Eucharistic Congress.

Over its several decades of history the Makám musical group is a demanding performer of sung poems inspired by and rooted in folk music. They are famous not only for their high quality artistic performance, but for their matured Christian spirituality.

The Golgota Gospel Choir has enriched with new colours the Hungarian music palettes since 2002. Their concert features well-known gospel classics and songs of praise. The Choir’s aim is to bring people into a personal relationship with God through their joyful music.

The internationally known and recognised neurosurgeon speaks with touching straightness about his path towards God, his failures and rises, while unveiling how faith and science work together in his personal vocation.

The vlogger priest is fairly popular amongst the youth. He speaks in an informal and friendly manner even about the most serious issues of life, as well as about Jesus Christ, the centre of his life.

The Eucharist Orchestra is the nationally known pioneer of the Catholic popular music. They regularly feature on Catholic youth events, and are frequent guests of the “Ez az a nap” (“This is the very day”) programs. Their songs are widely played in churches with guitar. Their mission is featured by high musical and spiritual demand, by a twisting swing and happiness.

The community started its mission in Brasilia in 1982. Their main vocation is youth evangelization that is carried out in a genuine Latin-American manner, with temperament and cheerfulness! In 2009 five young community members arrived in Hungary, and their service has already captured the hearts of many!

Béla Pintér is a dominant figure of the Hungarian Christian light music. His songs spread as “hits” around all the denominations, bringing spiritual revival to many. He is a unique person with a special capacity of addressing both children and adults.

Soma Zámori, actor, and his fellows put on stage the Passion of Christ. A visualisation with the help of sound, projected images and music. Extremely thrilling experience to see how the Scripture comes to life through the contemporary interpretation of professional performers.

Following the performance, Deacon Zoltán Kunszabó helps us to apply all the above we have seen on stage in our personal life. A further opportunity for God seekers to meet Him!

László Csiszér and his ensemble’s mission, including testimonies.
